“Learning is not merely about acquiring knowledge, but also how that knowledge is applied.”
Ancora imparo – a 16th century Italian expression of humility and lifelong learning, was often attributed to something Michelangelo said late in life, and it means, “Yet I am still learning.” Despite creating some of the most celebrated works in Western art, mastering sculpture, painting, architecture, anatomy, and poetry, Michelangelo remained humble and intelligent enough to recognize, there was always still more to learn. That same orientation toward growth and curiosity has continually shaped Zachary’s leadership journey from the beginning. He believes learning is not merely about acquiring knowledge, but also how that knowledge is applied, especially in service of others – this perspective continues to guide how he leads, builds, and supports teams today.
As Chief Practice Manager at LeConte Wealth, Zachary partners closely with the firm’s leadership to oversee the operational foundation of the practice. His work centers on strengthening core processes, integrating technology, scaling for growth, and building systems that support consistency, excellence, and fiduciary care across the firm. He brings a collaborative, people first approach to operational leadership, balancing thoughtful strategy with timely and pragmatic execution.
Zachary brings extensive experience across firm administration, operations insight, team management, and organizational development within multiple service driven and highly regulated financial environments. Throughout his career, he has focused on stewardship, process improvement, leadership, and issue resolution – creating structures that help teams navigate complexity while remaining grounded in purpose and accountability. Colleagues value his steady leadership style, disciplined follow through, and commitment to helping people find ways to succeed in doing their best.
Having earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Ministry, and his Master of Business Administration from Ohio Christian University, Zachary has also completed formal studies in Lean Six Sigma and Agile Project Management and is continuing to build toward deeper proficiency in those methodologies. His academic focus on process improvement, leadership, organizational development, and business administration continues to shape his practical, people centered approach to operational excellence.
Outside of work, Zachary enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and continued investment in his own spiritual growth – whether hiking, camping, reading, studying space science and astronomy, or simply outside observing the planets through a telescope in his back yard, he remains inquisitive about the universe and its Creator – and the meaningful application of lifelong learning.
