“It’s not about me” is a mentality that I strive to display daily. That mentality prompts my passion to serve others and cultivate meaningful relationships, which seamlessly aligns with the fiduciary values at LeConte. Stewardship is a value that I keep at the forefront of my life. I look forward to working with others by educating and asking tough questions that help them see what’s possible and pursue purpose.
Since 2016, Alex has worked hard to maintain a “sponge” mentality, soaking up knowledge from his seasoned co-workers and other industry leaders by spending most of his time reading and learning about taxation and financial planning.
After graduating from Maryville College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Accounting (minor in Sociology), Alex accepted a role as a Planning Associate. Since then, he has passed the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (Series 65) and the Special Enrollment Examination (SEE). The SEE along with other requirements allowed him to receive the federal designation, Enrolled Agent (EA), handed down by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. In his current role, he provides support to clients in tax preparation, tax strategy, financial planning and supports, as well as manages client relationships.
Alex actively serves in several Blount County leadership roles. He serves on the United Way of Blount County Board of Directors and is a member of the Executive Committee. In addition, he currently serves on the Pellissippi State Foundation Board of Trustees and the Finance Committee. He’s previously served on the Blount County Youth Court Board as Treasurer, is a Blount County Young Professionals founding member, and is a Leadership Blount 2023 alum.
Alex is married to his wife, Hannah, and they reside in the Maryville community with their son. They together enjoy serving with their Foothills Church community, traveling to new places, cheering on the Maryville College Fighting Scots/Tennessee Volunteers and also enjoy spending time with their family.
