“It’s not about me” is a mentality that I strive to display daily. That mentality prompts my passion to serve others and cultivate meaningful relationships, which seamlessly aligns with the fiduciary values at LeConte. Stewardship is a value that I keep at the forefront of my life. I look forward to working with others by educating and asking tough questions that help them see what’s possible.
Since 2016, Alex worked hard to maintain a “sponge” mentality, soaking up knowledge from his seasoned co-workers and other industry leaders and spending most of his time reading and learning about taxation and financial planning.
After graduating from Maryville College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Accounting (minor in Sociology), Alex accepted a role as a Planning Associate. Since then, he has passed the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam (Series 65) and is currently studying to become an IRS Enrolled Agent. In his current role, he provides support to clients in tax preparation, tax strategy, financial planning and supports, as well as, manages client relationships.
Alex serves in leadership roles in the community. He serves on the United Way of Blount County Board of Directors. He is a member of the Community CLS (Connect. Lead. Serve.) club, the Executive Committee. In addition, he currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board for the Blount County Youth Court.
He enjoys serving with his church locally and abroad, as he has taken multiple trips to El Progreso Yoro, Honduras. In his spare time, he strives to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle by working out at local gym CrossFit Pistol Creek, camping with friends, hiking the Smoky Mountains, attending Tennessee and Maryville College athletic events and spending time on the lake in the Summers.
